To anoint means to lay oil or ointment to a person's head or body. Anointing the body with richly imbued oil is an ancient way to honor the body temple; a RICHual that involves intentional and attentive placing of oil to support you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. An anointing ritual is an ancient rite of purification, initiation and healing. The initiation of deepening into your sacred self and raising your frequency, can work with a combination of techniques to balance your body and help you release emotional blocks. Not only can the anointing oils enhance positive emotions such as joy and happiness, but they can also help to release negative emotions that are subconsciously stored on a cellular level. In the temples of old, each anointing was a consecrated rite of passage, helping you to release what no longer serves you, while affirming that you are a holy whole vessel.

Oil-based rituals for wellness were so widely accepted that ancient bathhouses of Rome had special rooms dedicated to the process. The spices, herbs and resins were believed to be so powerful that people of means went to great lengths to acquire the raw materials to prepare the anointing oils. This service can support the body to come back into harmony by opening energy flow throughout the body.

An herbal application to feet, legs, arms, neck, scalp and along the spine can open energetic pathways in the body. Laying on of the oils with richly infused oils can tap into cellular and soul remembrance. Anything that you "smell" can have an effect on the limbic system where emotions are stored in the "brain's emotional computer".  Intuitive guidance, sound and energy techniques may be utilized with the oils restoring balance and deepening your experience.

About the oil. My signature, Wholly Alchemy Anointing Oil is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused, synergistic combination of 8 natural herbs, herb elements and resins. No essential oils or fragrance oils added. The oil also contains quartz crystals and has been sound-charged with a pure quartz crystal pyramid. The energetic intention set for my oil is simple: You are Wholly Whole. However, I also use additional diluted essential oils to support the needs of the session.
